Making a difference in Africa, one step at a time
And those steps lead all the way to the Roof of Africa — the 5,895 metre summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
A climb that gives back
Our Kilimanjaro climbs are run by Winds of Hope, a registered Australian charity and Ugandan NGO working across Uganda and Tanzania. We're a social enterprise, not a tour company chasing profit — every dollar of profit from our climbs goes straight into improving education and healthcare for communities in Africa.
It means your climb is about far more than reaching the summit. The adventure of a lifetime becomes a force for good — helping children into classrooms and families towards better health, long after you've come down off the mountain.
Where your money goes
Partnering with Rotary Clubs in Australia, Uganda and Tanzania, Winds of Hope raises and directs funds to healthcare and education projects on the ground. All profits and fundraising from our Kilimanjaro climbs go directly to the projects pictured below.
